Many times we get so caught up with the results. When we aren’t getting the result we want we put in so much effort in changing the results again and again and again and getting nowhere. We try to get bell ringers by giving bonuses. The biggest mistake in this is that the root cause of the obstacle is not being addressed. The root cause is that by giving bonuses, you don’t teach your people how to think. Once you teach people how to think for themselves, they will do things differently and it will have a long-lasting impact on your results.
